Jared Blake is a contestant from Season 1 of The Voice. He was the third singer to be seen on the Blind Auditions and sang "Good Girls Go Bad" by Cobra Starship. None of the coaches turned their chair around during the performance leaving Jared to be eliminated. Due to some of the coaches having not filled their team of 8 after seeing all the artists, some were given second chance performances. In his second Blind Auditions he sang "Not Ready to Make Nice" by Dixie Chicks and Blake pressed his button making Jared part of his team.
Blake then chose during the Battle Rounds to pair up Jared with Elenowen and gave them the song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Diana Ross. At the end of their performance Blake chose Jared to take through to the Quarterfinals and Elenowen were eliminated from the competition.
During the Quarterfinals, Jared sang "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon and was 2nd to sing during the live show. Jared also sang with the rest of his team and their coach Blake Shelton to "This Love" by Maroon 5. Jared was eliminated along with Patrick Thomas in this round.
