Vicci Martinez is a contestant from Season 1 of The Voice. She was the fourth singer to be seen on the Blind Auditions and sang "Rolling in the Deep" by Adele. Both Cee Lo and Christina pressed their buttons but Vicci chose to join Cee Lo's team.
Cee Lo then chose during the Battle Rounds to pair up Vicci and Niki Dawson and gave them the song "Perfect" by Pink. At the end of their performance Cee Lo chose Vicci to take through to the Quarterfinals and Niki was eliminated from the competition.
During the Quarterfinals, Vicci sang "Jolene" by Dolly Parton and was 3rd to sing during the live show. Vicci also sang with the rest of her team and their coach Cee Lo Green to "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone. Vicci was saved by the public and moved on to the Semi-finals.
At the Semi-finals, Vicci sang "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence and the Machine and was 8th to sing during the live show. The final four were announced based on a mix of public's vote and voting of their coaches. Both carried equal weight of 100 points for a total of 200 points. Vicci received 49 from Cee Lo and 75 from the public advancing her to the finals ahead of Nakia. In the results show the final 8 all performed together to a "Faith/Freedom '90" medley by George Michael.
At the Final each of the contestants performed an original song and a duet with their coach. Vicci's original song was called "Afraid to Sleep" and her and Cee Lo both sang "Love is a Battlefield" by Pat Benatar. During the results show Vicci sang with Patrick Monahan to "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. Vicci was eliminated along with Beverly McClellan and came 3rd/4th.
